A Community Economic Development
Program Hosted by the
Texas Association of Community Development Corporations |
The
Texas Association of Community
Development Corporations is pleased to invite you to
the 2010 Texas Community Development Summit. The annual meeting of
“Legislators, Lenders and Leaders” is designed to encourage conversation around
the most pressing public policy issues affecting affordable housing and
community economic development across the state of Texas. This year's collection
of topics
proves to be among the most educational and useful topics, namely, the TDHCA
Sunset Process, Financial Reform and its Impact on Community Development, and
the Future of Tax Treatment for Affordable Housing.
The Texas Community Development Summit provides the
opportunity for leaders and community partners to come together and set the
agenda for the future impact on Community Economic Development. Please join us
on September 30, 2010 from 9:00am - 2:15 pm in Austin for a day of exchanging
innovative ideas. Through collaboration and sharing resources,
we can overcome the serious challenges that face low-income communities such as
affordable housing and economic development. Our vision for the future is one
where the policies and practices of the public sector, advocates, and private
markets work together to ensure all Texans have an opportunity to prosper.
